Cookie Policy

Updated on 17 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on Inge Riemersma's website, what they are for, and how you can manage them in your browser.

The site uses Google Analytics to collect aggregated visit statistics and, on the Contact page, an anti-spam service that may be Google reCAPTCHA or Cloudflare Turnstile depending on the active configuration.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They may be used to keep pages working properly, measure traffic, or protect forms from misuse.

2. Cookies used on this site

Service Cookie / technology Purpose Typical duration
Google Analytics _ga, _ga_*, and related cookies Collects aggregated statistics about visits, page views, and site usage. Up to 2 years, depending on the cookie
Consent cookie cookie_consent Stores your choice if you accept or reject non-essential cookies. 12 months
Contact form Google reCAPTCHA or Cloudflare Turnstile, depending on configuration Protects the form from spam and automated submissions. Variable, depending on the service and browser

3. Third-party cookies

When you load the site, some external services may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and navigation details. In particular, Google Analytics and the contact form anti-spam service are provided by third parties and are subject to their own privacy policies.

The current contact form configuration in the repository uses Google reCAPTCHA; the code also supports Cloudflare Turnstile if it is enabled in the future.

4. How to manage cookies

You can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. You can also block them partially or entirely, but some site features may not work properly, especially analytics and the contact form anti-spam protection.

  • Use your browser's privacy or history settings to delete cookies.
  • To limit Google Analytics, you can also install the Google Analytics browser add-on for deactivation.
  • If you use script blockers or privacy tools, the contact form may ask you to complete the anti-spam check again.

5. Updates

This notice may be updated when the technical services used by the site change or when the way cookies are handled is modified.
